Aug 17, 2014 (New York, NY) Doug Volkes is interviewed by Contessa Brewer about his experience as a WSOAE artist exhibiting his guitar art. It was at a WSOAE Show when Vokes met singer Julian Lennon, son of the late Beatle John Lennon, and sold him one of his instruments. 

 

WSOAE Exhibitor Sonia Grineva is featured on NBC's 4NY 

 

May 22, 2014 (New York, NY) Sonia Grineva has been a long-time exhibitor of WSOAE. On May 22, NBC 4NY interviewed Ms. Grineva on her experience as a WSOAE exhibitor and what visitors can expect at the show. 

 

Sonia Grineva was born in Moscow, Russia, and received her B.A. and M. F.A. degrees from the Stroganov Art Institute. 

 

Ms. Grineva has gained an international reputation for her oil and watercolor landscapes and is well-known locally for her Manhattan cityscapes. Her work can be seen in galleries in New York, New England, Washington and Georgia, and in numerous private, public, and museum collections. She maintains an art studio at the historic Pen and Brush Club, in New York City.
