A link to your online portfolio of at least five (5) images  â€” including one of your proposed display — in each medium you wish to exhibit, or attach the images in your email. You may also send a disk by postal mail. Print your name, medium, and dimensions of each piece submitted.

Sculpture or craft artists, please include a brief description of method and materials used to create the work for each image you are submitting.

Digital images containing five (5) jpeg images on a disk.

On a separate sheet, clearly print your name, medium and dimensions of each piece show on the disk. Sculptors and craftspersons should include a brief description of the method and material used to create the work.

Enclose your check in the amount of your choice of weekends. Include a separate check for the $20 jury fee. Jury fees are non-refundable even your application is not accepted.

Exhibitor Information

Application and images are due by May 1 for the spring show and August 1 for the fall show

​

Applications received after the deadline will be considered as circumstances permit. The earlier applications are received, the sooner you will be notified of your acceptance.

​

What Else You Need to Know

 

You may exhibit work only in the categories in which you are accepted. Signing of all work is encouraged. All work must be priced and offered for sale.

​

You must agree to participate in all the days of the exhibit for which you have contracted.

​

Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with no commission on sales.​

​

All exhibitors must have an authorized vendor tax resale number.  

​

  • Exhibitors must agree to report and pay necessary taxes, including New York's 8.875% sales tax

  • All parking must be legal and strict sanitation regulations must be observed

  • All booths and their contents must be furnished by the exhibitor. You will need:

  • Booths must be able to withstand crowds and weather. An exhibitor with an unsafe space will be asked to close up and forfeit all fees

  • Booth assignments are at the sole discretion of WSOAE and are not interchangeable. While WSOAE attempts to honor specific location requests, no guarantee can be made. Space is non-sharable and non-transferable. Each street block is served by a Show Supervisor and a Monitor

  • You must agree to the EXHIBITOR CONTRACT AND STANDARDS

  1. A free-standing rack. Booth spaces are approximately 10 running feet by 4-1/2 feet up to 10 feet in depth, depending on the width of the sidewalk. The height limitation is approximately 8 feet
  2. Your own chairs, tables, display equipment, hanging supplies, etc. Note: Umbrellas and canopies are permitted, as long as they do not carry corporate logos or promotional messages. No generators are permitted.
